titanium dome tweeters mounted in each rear door panel
A rare-earth metal, titanium, was selected for the construction of
these 20mm tweeters, since it is both extremely lightweight and rigid, eliminating high-frequency distortion.
The 2 specialized JBL co-axial speakers found in the rear doors play a similar role to the combined 4 front speakers, addressing the full auditory response range
(20 – 20,000 hertz), and filling the rear of RAV4’s cabin with rich, ambient sound.
