The JBL and Toyota Partnership

As with any good relationship, big things start small... Toyota and JBL agreed to become partners in 1997.
•	The first vehicle in the Toyota lineup to benefit from JBL-branded audio was the previous generation Solara (1999 model year).
•	JBL Synthesis®, with surround sound, first entered the Toyota lineup in a 5.1 format in the Sienna and 4Runner (2003 model year), and now 7.1 format, is on board the Avalon (2005 model year).
•	JBL has also provided an unbranded premium rear-seat entertainment system on the Land Cruiser since the 2004 model year.
The partnership continues to be so successful that JBL audio is now available as an option on 15 of Toyota's model lines.
